StudioVillage has two membership levels, Standard and Pro. A Standard Membership is free, and it allows an individual to gain access to most of the features of StudioVillage. Standard Members are able to set up their own profile pages, complete with an avatar, an "About Me" section, a Photo Gallery, a Comments section, and more. Most importantly, Standard Members are granted full access to the StudioVillage Talent List, thus allowing them to choose from a select group of professionals that are available to contribute to their recording projects.

A Pro Membership is reserved for those individuals who wish to offer their services for hire to other members. Pro Members make up the Talent List at StudioVillage, and each member has been required to demonstrate proficiency in their fields of expertise. Pro Members can set up an expanded profile page complete with a bio/resumé, a discography, an audio player for playing samples of their work, video links to YouTube and other video-sharing sites, a Blog, a Photo Gallery, a Comments section, and more.
